A provider of hotel marketing services has appointed former hotel general manager, Marta Wasilewska, as it’s new international project manager as it continues to use specialist expertise to underline its commitment to meeting hoteliers’ needs.

Profitroom, which delivers award-winning services to the hospitality industry in a bid to drive direct bookings for hotels, seeks to combine Marta’s wealth of hotel know-how with its technical expertise to further enhance the brand’s specialist knowledge of the industry.

With more than 14 years of hospitality experience, Marta has acquired an extensive understanding of the hotel business. Her most recent and prominent position as GM of a London boutique hotel, saw her take personal responsibility for its operation within a competitive hospitality environment.

Having joined Profitroom in the summer as an international customer service representative, Marta has already been promoted to international project manager. This new role will see her help clients optimise Profitroom’s tools across an array of projects, whilst building strong, lasting relationships with hoteliers both within the UK and around the world.

The brand is already reaping the rewards of Marta’s previous experience, having continued to provide an approachable point of contact for both current and prospective clients – with Marta able to intuitively understand hoteliers’ needs having been in their shoes herself.

Samantha Williams, Director of Business Development at Profitroom commented: “Marta’s skillset combined with her experience as a hotel general manager makes her a fantastic asset to the team. At Profitroom, we’re focused on delivering services and solutions that genuinely meet the needs of hotels and who better to comment on that than a former general manager? Marta knows the inner workings of hotels inside and out so is perfectly placed to advise others on where we can help. She’s able to see through the lens of the hotelier, which will enable us to refine our services to best fit the needs of the industry.”

Samantha continued: “With recent expansions to our client-base, both in the UK and internationally, we’re looking to further support the hospitality industry as we enter a post-pandemic era. With hotels still in the infancy of reopening, we anticipate a whole host of new challenges for hospitality operators and believe Marta’s experience will prove crucial in helping us to help hotels overcome them.”

With Profitroom’s data indicating continued summer availability in UK hotels, the next few months offer a unique opportunity for hoteliers to capitalise on the so called ‘Staycation Boom’. Marta’s contribution will allow Profitroom to best guide its clients towards a successful summer period.

As she adapts to her new role, Marta said: “I love the fact that Profitroom is an international company that originated in my hometown. I have been made to feel very welcome in my new role and look forward to marrying my industry knowledge to their unrivalled technical expertise. I am surrounded by driven and ambitious individuals who, alongside their abilities, also have a great sense of humour too. It really feels like a family here at Profitroom.”

So far this year, Profitroom’s innovative approach to direct booking, combined with its hotel marketing expertise, has seen its services taken up by top-end hotel and resort clients across the world, including leading hospitality brands.
