NEW Profitroom – Google Hotel Ads in a self-service model

31 August 2021Marika Kachelska

Would you like to run Google Hotel Ads campaign for your hotel yourself? We are introducing a self-service model that makes it possible!

Profitroom will provide you with a connection between Profitroom Booking Engine and Google and a regular report on bookings gained. You, as a hotelier, will run and optimise the campaign on your own, depending on your strategy and needs.

What is a Google Hotel Ads campaign?

It is a metasearch campaign that is displayed in your hotel’s calling card on Google Search and Google Maps

Adverts are only displayed if the hotel has vacancies for the date selected by the guest, so the budget is only used when there is a real possibility that a guest will make a booking. Once clicked, the guest is redirected to the hotel’s booking engine.

The price is always displayed next to the offers of other third parties and that is the biggest advantage of the advertisement – it means that with Google Hotel Ads you can actively drive bookings to your direct booking engine, away from highly commissionable OTA’s.

Why self-service?

Until now, the only option for working with Profitroom on Google Hotel Ads campaigns was to use the support of our e-marketing team. However, this is changing.

Self-service is a solution created for hotels that successfully run their advertising campaigns within their internal teams or want to leave the entire marketing strategy in the hands of one agency

In the self-service model, we will establish a connection between Profitroom Booking Engine and Google Hotel Ads and help you launch your Google Hotel Ads campaign in the CPC (cost per click) model in the Google Ads advertising panel. The rest is up to you – you can analyse, optimise and change the campaign as you wish!
