Samantha has overall responsibility for the development of the Africa markets, providing them with the tools and guidance they require to help as many accommodation providers as possible regain control of their businesses and increase their direct bookings. With extensive experience within the hospitality industry over the last 9 years specialising in, Sales, Marketing, F&B and Revenue, Samantha has the first-hand skills and knowledge to lead and inspire the Profitroom team in their quest to drive our hotel partners businesses forward.
Brought up in a multicultural background and living in various countries throughout his life, Patryk enjoys connecting with our global partners, and helping their business become more profitable. With more than 14 years of valuable experience working in various departments within hospitality, Patryk has a strong understanding of the industry, and uses his brilliant expertise to drive results for our clients. He’s excited to be building relationships with them and tailoring our solutions to suit each of their needs.
Marta arrived at Profitroom with over 14 years experience within the hospitality industry, 9 of which were spent as the General Manager of a London boutique hotel, giving Marta unrivalled knowledge of the needs of modern hoteliers. As International Project Manager, Marta helps clients to optimise Profitroom's tools across an array of projects, whilst building strong, lasting relationships with hoteliers both within the UK and around the world.
As the marketing manager for the UK and ROW, Jane supports the UK, Nordics and South African teams. A kiwi living in the UK for the past 10 years, Jane brings to the team an impressive background within the tourism and hospitality industry. Thriving on the diversity marketing allows, Jane relishes the opportunity to shout about Profitroom across a range of mediums, worldwide. With a real focus on building our brand awareness, creating positive relationships and driving results on an international, national and regional level.
Marlena is our marketing executive for the Nordics, South Africa, UK and ROW. Born in Poland and brought up in England, she's the perfect fit for Profitroom and its diverse culture. With her extensive background and Marketing Degree, she's involved in all things digital, so you've probably seen her all over our socials! Marlena is a vital part of our team, building brand awareness by ensuring our followers stay up to date with industry news, product updates and all external communications. She enjoys the fast-paced nature of the role within the hospitality industry as she recognises the growth opportunities Profitroom presents her with.
Born in the Philippines, raised in Vancouver, and currently travelling across Europe, Queenie’s cultured background gives her an excellent advantage when it comes to securing new clients. She understands different values, ideas and needs, allowing her to interact with businesses all over the world effectively. She enjoyed a long and varied history working for multiple luxury hotels in Canada, before turning her hand to the world of travel-tech. She now manages business development for the UK, growing and nurturing relationships with our UK clients. Queenie enjoys the diversity and culture within Profitroom, and fits in perfectly with our diverse, driven and knowledgeable team of experts.
With a decade of experience in the events sector, business development manager Liz Seaton joins the team as a seasoned professional in bringing people together – handy for both a role in sales and working for a company that aims to increase direct hotel bookings. Focussing on the Midlands and Cumbria, Liz is responsible for securing new business and promoting the adoption of the Profitroom booking engine and other software.
Tom joined Profitroom in May 2021 with a real varied history within the hospitality industry spanning almost 20 years. Over this time, Tom has seen the importance of innovative technology to a hotel, understanding how important it can be when seeking a competitive advantage. As a Customer Success Manager, Tom enables our hotel partners to get the most out of the Profitroom Suite, in addition to utilising his extensive experience, assisting hoteliers to drive direct bookings, helping reduce OTA reliance.
Michael has eight years' experience in the South African tourism industry including time as one of the directors of tourism and hotel and restaurant owner in his region.
For over 20 years, Michael has been developing and training leaders and entrepreneurs around the world. Having resided in the UK for 16 years and presented leadership training in over 25 countries, he has a wealth of international experience and practical know how. Working with government departments, businesses, corporates, NPO’s as well as sports teams to build leaders, strengthen companies, envision and inspire. Michael is a businessman, entrepreneur, coach, mentor, lecturer and team building
expert and extreme adventurer, making him the perfect Senior Business Development Manager for Profitroom
Specialising in digital marketing, with extensive experience in sales, brand development, training and strategic planning, Leigh has over 15 years of industry experience under her belt. Drawn by the excitement of the corporate world and with a passion for travel, Leigh joined our Profitroom team to satiate her hunger for driving results. Leigh's role consists of connecting with hotel CEOs, general managers, marketing and sales managers and IT specialists, showcasing our platform and products to help grow their revenue and market share.
Boasting 18 years of hospitality experience in sales, Tricia has spent her career understanding the time, effort and money that goes into maintaining an establishment’s success. Having started her career as a Pentravel travel agent, Tricia soon moved across to Lion Roars where she worked her way into the sales department. In 2018, she started her own business helping create awareness for owner run accommodation and conference venues. Having spent nearly two decades using her sales acumen to help hoteliers succeed in a competitive marketplace, it became clear that Tricia is a natural fit for the Profitroom team.
Over the past 25 years, Laurence has managed a number of luxury hotels. During this time, he’s worked alongside private owners, world-renowned designers, brand agencies and even chefs, repositioning hotel businesses and rolling out Michelin Star level concepts. Laurence is particularly passionate about helping hoteliers increase their revenue, and so he uses his platform here at Profitroom to help a variety of clients benefit from our innovative products and services. Laurence looks after a number of hotel groups and, as a self-proclaimed problem solver, he enjoys the complexity of their business models.
Aneli has worked in tourism since 2000, learning about hotels, lodges and teamwork. She has worked in Botswana, Namibia and Europe, broadening her industry experience.
Prior to Profitroom Aneli had a almost five year career with Mossel Bay Tourism as Chief Operations Officer, with skills such as operations, finance, campaign management, team leadership, marketing and social media. Prior to this position Aneli was an events coordinator at two prestigious South African tourist hot spots.
Aneli is a passionate Mom of two, that enjoys travelling with her family in her free time and loves nature and wildlife.
Prior to joining Profiroom Karolina worked in the hospitality industry for 10 years.
She worked for one of Londons largest hotels in the Reservation and Events Departments
After moving back to Poland, she worked for a small boutique hotel as General Manager. This experience has helped her gain a better understanding of hoteliers needs which is why she is so successful in her current position with Profitroom.
Karolina joined Profitroom 7 years ago as Customer Success Manger for the Polish market. During those few years she developed her knowledge by working closely with our reseller partners and Connectivity Department. This has helped Karolina gain a better understanding of the different markets and technical requirements to solve hoteliers needs. Karolina is currently one Customer Success Manager for the Nordics.
