Since 2008, we have been continuously delivering leading SaaS technology and marketing services to empower hoteliers with the tools to increase their revenue performance, bookings and efficiency, and in consequence provide their consumers the best services and experiences.

While our SaaS Profitroom Suite platform consists of several products, each one of them is also a standalone solution developed and maintained by a dedicated Software Engineering team and a Product Owner. As an Engineering Manager, you will take responsibility for 3 or 4 of those teams and their respective products, ensure a high standard of deliverables and contribute to Profitroom’s technological strategy!

Tech stack: PHP, Laravel, Symfony, Node.js/Typescript, Vue.js, Docker, REST, RabbitMQ, Golang

As an Engineering Manager at Profitroom, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing 3 or 4 distributed teams of developers and testers (through their respective Team Leaders)
  • Co-designing career paths and empowering your teams’ growth through goal setting (based on OKRs) and mentoring
  • Providing your teams with high level technical direction
  • Researching and suggest new technologies, analysing the effectiveness of processes, suggesting improvements and implementing best practices
  • Collaborating with CTO and Core Development team to design Profitroom’s long term technical roadmap and strategy
  • Working closely with Product Team, DevOps and Service Delivery Manager to ensure smooth product development and delivery

We’d love to talk if you have:

  • Extensive software engineering background, preferably in relevant tech stack
  • Experience in leading and developing distributed teams in a product oriented organisation
  • Knowledge about up to date software architecture patterns and practices
  • Solid agile/scrum practice
  • Sense of ownership and engineer’s curiosity that leads you to challenge status quo and explore new, better ways of working
  • Ability to influence and inspire others to follow your steps
  • Great command of English
